Ended the month with 98 Hitpoints and 99 Firemaking. Went and got my adze back midway between 98 and 99 with no problems from pker's. Did most of my burning in Oo'log. GE is too crazy between the flower game, people begging, scamming and testing the language filter. Though I appreciate that it exists to keep all the crazies in one place.

Another week, another set of rocks. Only 10 more weeks to go I think.
Been doing some Jagex Cup training both for mining and getting ready for fishing/cooking. What should be fun is becoming a pain. Mostly because the rules aren't established and you have no way to verify anything.
Other then rocks I've been doing a lot of slayer. And I've been trying to do assists every day (now resetting after 6pm pst). I've met a lot of people and it's been enjoyable, plus a fast 30k a day xp doesn't hurt.
Got to 97 Firemaking. Just from rocks and the adze.

Got 96 Firemaking last night while waiting for a star. Falling back into my old pattern of doing 20 minutes of errands, then skilling for the night then mining a star, killing the Jade Vine and calling it a day. My daily errands are usually: Jade Vine, Bork, Battlestaffss, Pure Essence from Wizard Comptetry. When I'm in the area I also get the flax/pineapple/seaweed/sand from Arhein and Bert.
I've also added in vials. Now that the stores sell the packages of them and they take all day to refresh I stop in at the Ardy general store and Moonclan's store to stock up. When I'm in Shilo or one of the other shops that sell them I buy them there too. I calculated I need about 55k vials for 99 herblore. Might as well start stockpiling them now. It's actually a pretty good money maker if I was so inclined. Same with all the various meats in Oo'log. Shame that they added the update a couple weeks after I was on my big rabbit meat spree.

Got a new job so been a bit distracted. Got 84 Summoning though. And 93 Firemaking. Been mostly just doing my daily tasks and running in circles. Not sure about 97 but will definitely get 96 agility this month.
Woodcutting is flying by too. I'm thinking of spending March on hunter. During vacation period it's too hard to hunt and I do want to get some levels in it this year.

Firemaking 91 last night and Firemaking 92 today. Fire adze time!!
My friend James sent me his method of doing it a while back. I made a few changes and here's how I did my run.
Used this as a reference: Adze for what to bring to fix each beacon etc. I won't list these all out.
I used maple logs all the way. Dipped in the Oo'log run pool also. If you are going to be fixing the beacons then don't bother with a Terrorbird, at least for the first half. On the filling run you'll want a glory and a dueling ring so that you can reload quickly.
Numbers in (parentheses) are the corresponding beacon on the runehq guide.
Needed to transport:
1 Games Necklace
3-4 Glories
Dueling Ring
2 Trollheim Teles
Goblin Sphere (2 laws, 1 molten glass get it in dorgeshkaan)
Combat bracelet.
1) Tele to Trollheim and head to GWD. NE of GWD entrance. (Need a super restore) You'll want to take a little food with you. (12)
2) Tele to Trollheim. Run east and down the agility shortcut. (11)
3) Games necklace to bounty hunter then north through the fence to (14 and 13). If you've already fixed these then I'd get out a terrorbird and fill it up so you can carry at total of 40 logs and hit both these spots.
4) Combat bracelet to monastery, fill the beacon at Black Knights (7) and then run to level 13 Wildy (10).
5) Games necklace to Burthrope, head NE (9).
6) Goblin Sphere to goblin village (8)
6) Then back to Edgeville for (6). Run to GE for (5)
7) Then Varrock and the Lumberyard. (4&3)
8) Now, if you want to make this a little quicker just chop down 40 oaks outside the lumberyard. Otherwise bank in Varrock and then run to (2) and (1)
Maples last 14:45 seconds, oaks are 12:45 Even regular logs would work as they are ten minutes.

I entered the Supreme Skiller's public agility race this weekend. For me, it was from 2pm on Friday to 2pm on Sunday. I knew I didn't have the time or inclination as others to maximize xp but was hoping to see how much xp I could get if I worked it seriously. A top half finish would make me happy too.
So I got 480k agility xp. The winner got more then 3x that. But I did finish in the top half. If I could keep that pace up for 2 weeks I'd be closing in on the agility cape. And I wouldn't enjoy it at all. For a short period of time that kind of focused training works for me. I like lots of breaks and the ability to wander from skill to skill. I realize that all that switching costs me xp/hour but still, it's about enjoying myself. I think that's why I like stars so much. I check, see how long I have and then do a few activities. Then I go mine the star and then take that the next stretch of time to do some bigger stuff. For example, star in 30 minutes. Farming run, tag the jade vine, buy and make battlestaffs then alch them until it falls. After the star I know I have 90 minutes or more to work on agility or firemaking or whatever takes a large piece of time.
So anyways, reached one of my goals for this weekend which was 95 Agility. Getting 96 like I hoped for this month I think would be very hard. Not enough time or dedication. So I will be happy if I can get up to 9million total in agility for the month (another 229k to go). Then I remembered my other goals for the month. I could get a top 15k ranking if I picked up 2 more levels. Since I was 20k from a cooking level and there was a clan event trawler fishing I planned on going to I used the fish from that plus about 15mins of fishing to get to 83 Cooking. Then I took a break and hit Misc and a farming run. Somehow in all this I came across 3 penguins, so decided to do that. Fastest penguin run yet, still had 10 minutes on my terrorbird when I was done.
After that I burned off about 1500 logs. Turned on the TV and just mindlessly burned and watched the Dog Whisperer (I love my DVR). By the end of the show I hit 90 Firemaking.
Current ranking 14,866. I'm sure when I wake up I'll be over 15k again but I at least hit my goal.

82 Fishing. Been fishing a bit while getting my run back in Catherby. Finally took a little time and pushed to 82 Fishing. Should have enough food for a couple months.
89 Firemaking. Realized I was close and went ahead and got the level. Which reminded me how much I want that adze.
Agility is wearing me down, decided that I'm just going to go for 50k a day in agility for awhile. Little progress every day without wearing out.

Been really busy with the holidays and such.
I also decided to focus on cleaning out my bank. Not a lot of leveling/xp there but I can do whatever and not worry about bank space.
Had 2000 shades to burn. Did that and got a lot of clue scrolls. Took me 8 days but I probably made a 10million gp profit on the clues and stuff. (I high alched everything).
88 Firemaking along the way.
Got 83 Mining from hitting all the various stars along the way.
Anyways I'll be back to my normal leveling self shortly. And have some new guides to post up.

Late last night I got to 81 Woodcutting.
Then today I got to 87 Firemaking, 81 Smithing and 87 Mage. Firemaking is firemaking, not much to explain there. I used superheat on a bunch of mith, addy and gold ore to get the levels.
Checked my fruit trees and they were grown. Then finished some herb farming and ended up 2500 away from 95 Farming. Well, I didn't have the patience to wait so I did the vinesweeper minigame. If I had been smart I would have checked all my bushes and calquat tree.
Anyways, after spending much longer at Ms Winkin's Farm then I wanted to I got to 95 Farming. And all this mad skilling got me to 2,000 total levels :D

So far today I've gotten to 83 Herblore. Mostly on Sara pots but I also replenished my supply of often used pots.
Did an herb round and a tree round. Getting closer to a farming level.
Then hit 86 Firemaking. Mostly just burned my maples from my kingdom.
Did my usual battlestaff making and the rest. Closing in on levels on a number of things. Want to get the skills that need the most xp done sooner rather then later.
86 Crafting. Air battlestaffs almost all the way.
Started on the firemaking level. Then chased a star. Then started on the smithing level.

85 Firemaking. 9 more levels to go before I get my fire adze.
I've noticed that most high level farmers are women. Is this really true? I know there's guys who have high levels in farming, but most of the high level ones I've meant are women. Hmmmm.
After I got my firemaking level I went and hunted some chins. It was late so I thought it would be easier to find a spot. You know how some locations/skills tend to have nice people while others have jerks. Yeah, I think hunters lean toward jerks. (Farmers, smiths, monkfishing tend to be nice). I was hunting along (in a PvP world since it's sometimes easier) and this guy logs in and stabs me. Ok fine. It's PvP so I'm not going to complain. I tele out and then log. Next world (also PvP). More hunting. Guy logs in. Starts complaining about how all worlds are full and tells me to jump. I don't think he has the levels to kill me but I had a strong suspicsion that he was going to call his friends. Hopped again. Found another world. Another person shows up. He and I start chatting. Then 3rd guy shows up. The three of us hunted quite busily for half an hour. Which proves my theory that each hunting spot can support multiple hunters. And that some hunters are nice (ok, so I might retract part of my previous statement).
Played my last game of Stealing Creation. I find this game a lot of fun. But really frustrating since a couple of guys spent their time killing everyone on my team. I wish they'd have a team chat kind of thing so that we could coordinate. And I don't find it fun that everytime I try to move I get stabbed. Not crying about it, I certainly have plenty of other options. Just going to stay away from there as I find Pking annoying. (Actually, I find PK'ers annoying.) The game is biased away from skillers and I'm not really interested in being a killer so there you go.

84 Firemaking. 1956 total
Spent the weekend doing the enchanted key and checking out some stuff. Also, burned a lot of shades. And then maples.
Every time I hit a big goal I'm at a bit of a loss as to what to do next. I've been chipping away at 99 agility but really don't think maxing out a bunch of skills will keep me interested. Probably need to come up with something with a bit more variety :D

So for the last few days I've managed to get:
90 Agility. So that's all my goals for the month.
72 Summoning. Used up all my goulash from the quest along with making a few bunyips. In one more level I can start trading in some bunyip pouches for shards.
83 Firemaking. I've been burning maples logs. I've got a few thousand shade remains of various sorts. I'm thinking of doing shade burning on weekends when I have enough time to be efficient about it.
1955 levels and a ranking in the top 20k.
Considering this is the end of my 2nd year I'm pretty pleased. I'm not sure what next year's goals are going to be yet (feel free to leave a comment if you have a suggestion). I'm thinking of getting a couple capes but I want some other kind of goal. Not sure what yet.
In the meantime I've been working on agility during the week. I do my daily tasks and then run some laps.

Started my firemaking goal (I want 92 for a fire adze.) Knocked out 81 and 82 Firemaking over the weekend.
Also worked on restocking a lot of my supplies that were low. So fishing, cooking and a bunch of other littler things.
Looking at the list of goals I had at the beginning of the month I only have one left.....90 agility.
Guess what I'm doing?

Back from a little work related trip and screaming at the Olympics. I agree with G in the comments.....Trampoline is pretty cool. And Team Handball....why isn't that popular in the US? It's got a ball and full contact. It's like playing soccer with basketball rules and football contact....what more do you need?

I figured out what happened (I think) with the high scores glitch I saw. I closed my browser instead of nicely logging out. So I logged back in and logged out and there it was. I wonder what would have happened if I had tried to change worlds.
Anyways, I continue to spend my time yelling at the Olympics. Mostly cheering on the Americans, Brits, Aussies and anyone from some country that really doesn't stand at chance at getting many medals. If I've never heard of it I've probably cheered for that athlete. There's some great sports that I wish American TV would show more of. I mean, we get baseball/tennis/basketball all the time. How about some team handball or judo or badminton (well, maybe not badminton).
So anyways.....I got to 79 Firemaking. I'm burning maples in Oo'log. I use a pyrelord for the extra 10 points a log (270 pts each load). After 2 pyrelords I run outside the western gate of Oo'log and replenish my summoning xp. I then cut a load of Eucalyptus and run back. This breaks it up enough to be interesting. (Pyrelord is about 32 minutes so the whole cycle is a little more then an hour).
Was getting closer to 80 in my melee skills so after I killed Bork 2 nights ago I hopped over to the fire giants and finsished my slayer task. Talked to Duradel again and after turning down steel dragons got fire giants again. Back to the chaos tunnels and got 80 Strength, 80 Defense and 80 Attack. I took a fully loaded Spirit Terrorbird. They do some damage and allow me more food going in and loot going out.
I'm now honestly surprised a bit by how many people I see in combat with decently high levels who don't use a summoning familiar. At the lower levels I'd imagine they would be even more valuable. I certainly could have used all the help I could get in fighting and hauling stuff.

Anyways, I continue to spend my time yelling at the Olympics. Mostly cheering on the Americans, Brits, Aussies and anyone from some country that really doesn't stand at chance at getting many medals. If I've never heard of it I've probably cheered for that athlete. There's some great sports that I wish American TV would show more of. I mean, we get baseball/tennis/basketball all the time. How about some team handball or judo or badminton (well, maybe not badminton).
So anyways.....I got to 79 Firemaking. I'm burning maples in Oo'log. I use a pyrelord for the extra 10 points a log (270 pts each load). After 2 pyrelords I run outside the western gate of Oo'log and replenish my summoning xp. I then cut a load of Eucalyptus and run back. This breaks it up enough to be interesting. (Pyrelord is about 32 minutes so the whole cycle is a little more then an hour).
Was getting closer to 80 in my melee skills so after I killed Bork 2 nights ago I hopped over to the fire giants and finsished my slayer task. Talked to Duradel again and after turning down steel dragons got fire giants again. Back to the chaos tunnels and got 80 Strength, 80 Defense and 80 Attack. I took a fully loaded Spirit Terrorbird. They do some damage and allow me more food going in and loot going out.

Been caught up in Olympics fever lately so haven't had much time to blog or play.
Did manage to get both 77 Mining and 77 Firemaking so I am making some progress.

Last night I got to 75 Mining. I got fortunate and found a good clan chat to pass the time. Otherwise it's dull.
When I was making all those pouches for the Spirit of Summer quest I decided to make a few pyrelord pouches. If you have a pyrelord summoned it's an extra 10xp per log, 270 xp per load. Was very pleased to see how it worked. In no time at all got to 75 Firemaking. That concludes my mad dash to 75. Now back to the regularly scheduled programming.
I lost my steel defender the night before while messing around with Bork. Decided to work on getting a rune defender again. Got to 79 Attack, 79 Strength and 79 Defense gathering the tokens. Once I get a rune defender I'll start killing abyssal critters for a giant runecrafting pouch. Then the push to all 80's. May start with firemaking.....not sure yet....less then 50 levels to go.
Edit: Got another cooking level. Needed to get some food together to keep bork/jade vine destroying and to get to 80 thieving. 81 Cooking.

Busy weekend. Got to 74 Firemaking by cleaning out the logs I got during my last woodcutting level. Checked my kingdom (currently set for maples and herbs though I may change that to maples and coal for awhile). Used some of those maples to get 78 Fletching.
And still using ZMI for RC. I've figured out how to farm and do some of my other daily stuff on lunars so it's not too bad. Have to remember to wear a dueling ring so I can tele to a bank when I grab the wrong runes. Been using the Abyssal lurker. Got to 74 Runecrafting and then some. Really looking forward to 75 as I think it will be less awkward with the banking with the lurker etc.

Lots of patience and leveling and stuff paid off.
Started with farming. Hit 84 Farming. Just doing consistent herb run/tree run daily.
Then off to slayer. 75 Slayer, 75 Defense, 75 Attack, 75 Strength. All in about 10 minutes. Used a whip on controlled. Gotten lots of negative comments about it but it works for what I do. Other people, other things I guess.
Scrounged around my bank. Put together enough ores of various types to push to 71 Smithing. Mainly based on mining mith and addy every time I go to recharge my glories.
Did Tears. Only 112 but enough to get to 51 Summoning. With all the changs to summoning I'm thinking that a bunch of spirit terrorbirds (level 52, ouch) would be really useful. So I went to Port Phasmatys to finish smelting my ores. While there I saw that I was 30k away from a firemaking level. So I stayed there to get to 73 Firemaking.
Got to Piscatoris and started making Macaws. Ran out of Guams. Noticed that I could make some beavers. So teled to Draynor and started chopping willows. Grabbed 58 which gave me enough for 52 Summoning. Spirit Terrorbirds!! Made a spirit terrorbird and had it carry supplies for me. I can definately see this being a good thing :D. 53 Summoning.
That's a ton of levels. But really.... a lot of them I've bene working on in some way or another over the last week or so. Daily bork run. Daily farm run. Stuff like that.
