Monks, used up planks from slayer and luckily had done enough assists that I was only 300k away. I could have waited 10 days and done assists but wanted it done before bonus xp weekend.

Did not have a party. Told a handful of friends and that was it.

Been hanging out at the sawmill making planks. Almost as fast as ivy but with more peace and better gameplay. Tossing in a little ivy when I want to be brain dead. Made it to 98 Woodcutting. Will probably do a combination of sawmill, ivy and the occasional evil tree with friends to get the next level.
Oh and Dungeoneering 102. I am really starting to to like this, 30 minute larges with friends makes it go by fast. At least for the summer while everyone is around quite a bit it's been easy to form teams.
And finally 98 Magic. I swear, I haven't trained this other then the circus, teleporting around and some time with friends at livid farm. The circus is just fast free xp.
With all the dungeoneering I'm doing can see that it's making an affect on all my xp. Which is great.

Maybe I'm in a slump. But it seems that suddenly Jagex is increasingly.....half assed about things. First they hold the clan month kickoff the same weekend as bonus weekend. Then they ask the clans to issue challenges, race etc. But with minimal advance warning-which is fine-I guess. Then when they post the individual challenge list they don't alphabatize that list. There's hundreds, if not thousands of names. Just thought it could be dropped into a spreadsheet and sorted by name. Just....a finishing touch you know? Anyways, on to the skilling. Decided to fool around a bit in the lumberyard doing that plank making game. I kind of enjoy it and it worked well as I chatted with a friend. But I'm a fan of minigames and puzzles. Not sure what the xp rate was and how it compared but I did get to 97 Woodcutting. (I'm going to guess about 50k in 30 minutes). A friend asked for a crafting assist and I ended up at 98 Crafting. Honestly, I have no idea how I trained. Which I guess is the point. I just did stuff that I liked. Next up 99 Thieving. I know how I trained this. I got to 95 with a little thieving on weekends. I decided to spend all of bonus weekend raiding tombs. Arguably not the fastest thieving xp in the game but it was fast enough and I could do it for long enough stretches to make it worth it. Got to nearly 98 over the weekend and then just kept at it. I found myself playing less, which is fine since I have a garden to prepare, but I'd get on and push a bit and finally hit 99 Thieving and 2430 total levels.

Hit 92 Smithing last night. Just smelted gold with gauntlets while chatting with friends and reading the forums. And did assists....and rocks. Did a little bit every day while I looked for people to assist so it didn't really feel like I was working for it.
Then got to woodcutting, which I've been doing while waiting to tag my jade vine if I'm early and while standing around trying to get a dungeoneering team. Plus a lot of rocks. 96 Woodcutting.
And then did fletching. This one I was trying to work on since it's one of my few sub 92 skills and it was easy. Made a lot of maples unstrung which I have no use for but with my kingdom it's dirt cheap. And it left me free to chat and work on other things. So add in 92 Fletching.
And it got me to thinking. I think dungeoneering was needed. Here's why.
You have skills like woodcutting, cooking, fletching that are stand around and chat with your friends skills. They get treated like second tier skills because they are afkable. But really they work for a MMO. They let you do something while chatting.
You have skills like all the combat stuff, firemaking, hunter etc where if you want to do them well you can't really chat. Or at least will be less chatty.
And now you have dungeoneering which requires the focus, you can't just chat but you can be with your friends doing stuff with them. Which kind of makes it the combination of the other types.
Having said that, I think there's a little too much afkable stuff but not a big deal.

Well it's been raining here so most of my plans this weekend got canceled. So lots of RS time (and laundry, and vacuuming etc).
Got to 91 Fishing, 95 Crafting, 63 Dungeoneering, 97 Summoning and 94 Woodcutting. It may sound like a lot but to be honest.....it's been weeks in the making. Crafting is a function of rocks and air battlestaffs. So I can pretty much predict when I'll level that since it's really the only two things I do.
Fishing, rocks and fish flinging. I use up all 10 tickets a week so that's about 175k xp there. Rocks are good for another 10k.
Woodcutting, rocks. More rocks. I think I did 2 evil trees this month. Haven't farmed any trees. Oh....Jade Vine. Didn't realize it gave woodcutting exp (yes, been hitting it almost every day since it came out). Went to kill it and got my level! Oh and I do a tiny bit of woodcutting while dungeoneering.
Summoning. Was about 200k short of 97 after double xp weekend. But I could make pack yaks, was broke and didn't really want to deal with anymore summoning. Made some pouches to make scrolls but not much else. Then I realized I could cash in all the iron titans and replenish my shards. Plus, I made about 50k xp making pouches in dungeoneering.
And dungeoneering. Did a few large 5:5 floors and I'm hooked!! Xp is so much better in a group, even if it's just a duo. Duo'ed fl30 with a friend. We got killed and while restocking the boss fell over dead from the poison!! Which was good since we hadn't stockpiled food. Just another argument that poisoned spears are the best weapons. Did floor 31 and ended up with about 40k xp. Which tells me when the dungeoneering update comes out the high levels can probably make close to 80k an hour or more.

This weekend I pushed hard to get a few levels that were near completion done.
Knocked out 86 Herblore, 83 Construction, 84 Smithing and 93 Woodcutting. So that ends the month at 2111.
The crazy thing about herblore....when I was starting I was in AWE of people who had 40 pots they could give me. Now I have a few thousand of nearly everything and try to pawn them off. It's really strange how perspectives change as you level.
The woodcutting was from evil trees. If I'm at the GE I check to see when the next will pop. If it's less than 15 minutes I'll check it out. And use up all my leprechaun magic.
Smithing was gold bars. I had a bunch from the stars I was chasing.
And I LOVE the construction update. So much less annoying.

Finally! A level! 92 Woodcutting. It's been 2 weeks. Otherwise it's the usual daily task list plus agility. Going to start hunting tonight and should pick up another level in that this week.
Also, I'm going to start posting every other day. My usual method of posting when I get a level or when I have a guide isn't going to work. Too much room now between levels.

91 Woodcutting.
Otherwise it's spring and I've been working in the yard. Or working on getting my clan organized for the Jagex Cup.
So far I think Jagex got ahead of itself with this cup. But live and learn.
Hopefully my clan will place well.
All my goals for this month? Gone. Not going to happen. Jagex Cup took up a lot more of my time then I planned. Not a bad thing, just how it happened.

You know how you get skill in a lot of skills a tiny bit at a time? Then you look and suddenly you are about to level?
Tested stealing from chest in Dorgesh-kaan. A friend had made a map and I just wanted to see how his guide worked. His guide was great. The rewards.....hmmm....disappointing. Was hoping for more charms, got about 1 every 12 chests. Did get 86 Thieving though. Did my usual farming routine and then the spirit tree told me an evil tree was about to sprout. Went to that and then went to use Leprechaun magic (one of the best rewards in my opinion). Got to 90 Woodcutting.
Noticed I was close so went and got 83 Fishing.
I also discovered a volatile tool in my bank. So I used it up, got xp in all kinds of skills.

Great couple of days.
Got to 89 Woodcutting on the 27th thanks to an Evil Tree. I think Jagex really thought through the Stars and made some changes that make the evil trees a great little distraction. Not saying it's great xp but it's not bad. And the leprechaun magic I love! That and it's another way to get seeds so I'm happy with that.
Then I hit 96 Hunting on the 27th as well. Just hitting recd chins. Found a great spot that I can easily get over 300 an hour.My goal for this month was 97. Not sure I'm going to make it but I'll be close.
Then went to kill Bork and got to 82 Defense and 82 Attack. So that brings all my combat related skills up to 82.
2055 total. So I at least reached that part of this month's goals :D

88 Woodcutting last night.
Then today got to 88 Crafting and 86 Mining.
Going to ease up a bit on woodcutting for a bit. Pushed it because I could get caught up on reading a bunch of my email and other stuff. Great for multitasking.
Crafting, well, it was almost all battlestaffs. I buy them before I go on my daily tree run. Not fast but I've gotten my last 4-5 levels almost purely on these, and at a profit. May not power me there but it'll slowly get me xp without going broke.
Mining is almost all stars. So really, it's that time where all the little things I work on suddenly level. Slayer should level later this week.
Going to grab a firemaking level then focus on hunting for a bit. I've discovered that I can work one skill seriously for about 3 weeks and then I have to do something else. So next 3 weeks look like hunting hunting hunting.
2035 total.

87 Woodcutting and 86 Hunter. Hanging out in Oo'log. If hunting is too crazy I chop.

Finally, 96 Agility. That's the 75% mark. Going to just train agility on weekends for a bit. Getting a little burnt out on running in circles.
Also got 86 Woodcutting. Had a lot of reading to do and so have been doing it while woodcutting. With the new longer log out it's easier to multi task. Still have to keep an eye on things as I have a tendency to die at inopportune moments.
That brings the total to 2029. Did a bit of hunter. I forgot how fast, yet annoying, it can be. I like peaceful skills, hunting isn't going to be one of them.

I need to start updating more then when I get a level. Levels are too far apart now for that to be a good idea. Think I might steal a page from Timothy Gold and plan to do an update every other day.
85 Woodcutting. A fire adze seems to be annoying to hard core woodcutters at yews and magics. I'm not a big fan of chopping at yews and mages so if you ever see me there it's cause I'm either out of run energy and waiting to recover it OR getting a cookie. Otherwise, I love eucs. And I love watching my firemaking move up with my woodcutting. The adze is going to save me a ton of clicking (read somewhere it takes about 220k clicks to get 99 firemaking, ouch!)

Been alternating agility days with woodcutting days. I'd rather just go all out on agility and then woodcutting but I need the time to catch up on some reading. So going with this at least this week.
Finding Eucalyptus to be great trees to cut. Less profitable then yews but a lot faster. And no competition really for them.
Been doing my regular farming. Lots of apples and oaks are getting planted. Doesn't make the agility move very fast but it keeps marching on. I'll probably get on a herblore roll later this week since I'm finally starting to run low on supplies.
Doing the In Pyre Need minigame daily at the moment. I want a pet phoenix, then I'll probably quit doing it.
Chopped my way to 84 Woodcutting, 2024 total.

January ended well with 83 Woodcutting to bring the total to 2023.
So now is the usual goals discussion.
Only goal I missed was 96 Agility. Got all my other ones this month plus the adze plus a bunch of other levels. So pretty happy with that.
February I want:
97 Agility
88 Crafting
86 Mining
90 Woodcutting
93 Firemaking
83 Prayer
And some other random stuff to end up at at least 2040.

Did my usual farming and killing routine. Then took my shiny new axe and sailed to Oo'log. I haven't had this much fun with a new toy in a long time. At least not in RS.
Anyways, 82 Woodcutting. Kept chopping, good woodcutting xp with a bit of firemaking thrown in. I saw 2 people the whole time I was there so no competition for trees.

Late last night I got to 81 Woodcutting.
Then today I got to 87 Firemaking, 81 Smithing and 87 Mage. Firemaking is firemaking, not much to explain there. I used superheat on a bunch of mith, addy and gold ore to get the levels.
Checked my fruit trees and they were grown. Then finished some herb farming and ended up 2500 away from 95 Farming. Well, I didn't have the patience to wait so I did the vinesweeper minigame. If I had been smart I would have checked all my bushes and calquat tree.
Anyways, after spending much longer at Ms Winkin's Farm then I wanted to I got to 95 Farming. And all this mad skilling got me to 2,000 total levels :D

Been mining and runecrafting. Not very exciting I know.
Knocked out the All Fired Up Quest. Great. Short. Gives me more time with Juna.
My friend James went on a run to light all the beacons and I tagged along. Lit the 10 I could and King Roald was kind enough to give me a nice shiny ring and gloves. Should speed up the firemaking for me.
