Busy weekend! Focused on ZMI runecrafting. I actually meet some pretty nice people on Moonclan Isle so it was an interesting way to pass the time, chatting and runecrafting.

What worked for me was to summon an abyssal lurker and craft full speed for the 44 minutes it was out. Then do something else (tree run, herb run, summoning run, burn a couple rows of logs etc) or log out and do something. Then come back, summon another lurker and go again. I tried to do 1 lurker an hour. Getting close to 80.

Hit 70 Summoning on one of those runs. Did Tears of Guthix too and got 122 tears.

After my fifth lurker on Sunday I was a bit bored with it and decided to start chipping away at construction (and consequently smithing since I'm building mithril armor stands). Pretty pleased with the results as I got to 77 Construction. 1939 total.

Still chipping away at Farming. Need about 120k more. Checked my kingdom and I think I have just enough trees to get there this week. If not it'll be awfully close.

Haven't blogged in awhile because 1) haven't leveled and 2) been battling a cold.

Finally today got 2 levels. First, got to 66 Summoning by Tears. Chased down 10 penguins, got some stars and along the way farmed enough to 92 Farming.

Got annoyed Friday with Slayer. The hordes are descending. Went to Brim for greater demons and it was overrun. So I spent the weekend on lunars at the ZMI altar (which, btw is profitable at my level although not as profitable as the abyss but much faster xp).

But while slaying I made a table of all of Duradel's and Sumona's tasks. I then eliminated the creatures both would assign and the ones I would vote to put on my banish list. From what was left I decided that Duradel was the winner for me. Fewer undesirable potential tasks. Plus, his list was shorter meaning that my favorite tasks were more likely to come up. I think that before anyone starts using 100pts to banish tasks they should decide on who they want for their long term slayer master and look at their list. That way you can save yourself some points.

105 Tears=60 Summoning=1850 total levels.

Oh and the new pirate quest is done. Not sure how I felt about it other then appreciative of the xp in some of the slower skills to level.

Racing a friend now.

Friend let me use her gilded altar. My first time really at a gilded altar. Kind of awkward but still managed to get to 73 Prayer.

Been doing slayer and ran out of food. Headed up to Piscatoris. Had a lot of reading to do for other stuff so I fished and read. Got autologged more then I liked but finally got the screen etc set up right. Got 2 fishing levels so ended up at 76 Fishing. Which is great since that's the level for sharks. Cooked and got to 78 Cooking. Then ran to my house and used up some more planks I had. 67 Construction.

Toss in the a few farming rounds and that's been the last few days. Pushing hard for 1800.

Did Tears. Got 151 and that pushed me to 47 Summoning.

Spent the last 2 days getting back stuff I lost when I died. Then I took a look and realized how many skills I was nearing leveling so:

43 Summoning (Tears)
78 Magic
73 Slayer
73 Strength
73 Attack
84 Agility
76 Woodcutting

Got the mage/slayer/melee skills just doing slayer tasks. Went back to doing a daily farming run and that pushed my woodcutting up. Enjoyed a clan event chopping willows and that pushed me over the top. The downside is there aren't many skills that I'm near leveling now.

Went and fought iron and steel dragons for the first time. Interesting, not really my cup of tea but it was a nice change of pace.

Did the new quest which gave me enough XP (along with a laps at Dorgesh-Kaan) for the agility level.

Got a crystal key. Unlocked the chest and got 3 runite bars along with the dragon stones!!

Did a few more slayer assignments.

Killed off a ton of Fire Giants. Mostly got herbs which I'm happy with (and lots of charms).

Ran over to the Duel Arena for some crazy reason and tried my first duel tourney. Uhm...hmm...not much of a pker. Not a surprise I'm sure. Anyways, that unlocked another song. Plus I got 3 from doing the Surok mini-quest. Should be getting very close to the Air Guitar Emote.

75 Ranged while killing 173 Blue Dragons. Got some addy helms and a few other nice items to high alch. Did a few other little errands.

117 Tears. Level 41 Summoning! Probably the last time I'll get 2 levels with 1 trip to Tears.

Tried to leave Merch Gwyar a post on her blog but couldn't figure out how to do it. Yup, spent a good ten minutes (and I do have an account on Sal's thank you very much.) So if you read this Merch can you PM me in game when you get bored? I got me a question for you.

Herb round. Tree round. Bank tiding and make a few cosmics or laws. Herb round. Make orbs. Attach to Battlestaffs and high alch. That's pretty much been what I've been doing when I first log in. Trying to get a cash cushion back after buying the Guthans and D Boots (my mithril boots clashed with my new armor :D.) Built all the portals in my house and now I just need to get enough laws to make them all into teleports.

Did Tears. 101 of them. Good enough for 39 Summoning. Haven't been starting hunting until after 9:30 my time the last 2 nights. Which doesn't matter because I know I'm going to have to search out a world anyways. Just chipping away at hunter. Won't be done this month with it but it will be just a few days into March.

By the way, for some reason there's NO sara pots to be found in the GE. I was able to help a friend get some as I had all the ingredients (again, none could be found on the GE) and we got an assist from a great friend. This is why I'm a packrat.

Not much hunting today. My friend Wendi got 99 Cooking!! So I hung out and cooked some monks.

Did my usual farming rounds. Had a mini-epiphany. Why not just do a herb run everyday? I'll need tons of herbs to hit 82 (long term goal). I can buy seeds for much less then what the herbs willl cost. I investigate a bit and found a seed that is selling for less then 1 herb of it's kind costs. Not the greatest cash (not sure if it's "profitable") but I won't take much of a loss and I'll end up with a ton of a potion I personally will find useful. So I bought 100. I'm only planting 3 fruit trees a day. The other two (papaya and palm) I pick the fruit daily. When I get a new papaya/palm I'll replace the old ones. That should guarantee me a steady supply. (Since I'm only using seeds from my kingdom this shouldn't be a problem)

Did Tears. New personal best of 151!! That equals 37 Summoning. Which also makes me ranked 49,285!! Finally cracked that 50k barrier.

Finally got to 69/70 Firemaking. Burned nothing but pyre logs so helped my prayer and crafting a bit out too. And a friend of mine gave me full Splitbark. I'd tell you who it was but....well...let's say I've gotten a few beggar-fans and I don't want to curse anyone else.

Then did Tears of Guthix and got 123 Tears. Which got me to 59 Construction.

Then quickly did some Slayer and got to 67 Slayer. And 72 Magic. Wasn't trying to get magic levels but now I can tele myself to Moonclan to get my own snape grass. Woot.

Working Turoths right now. A lot of people don't seem to like them but they are good herb droppers. And seeds. And lookie here..........white mystic bottoms.

2pm Edit: Finished the Turoths and Shadow Warriors. On to fire giants. And got 68 Attack.

End of day edit: Knocked out some iron dragons. And some Hellhounds. Got to 68 Slayer. 69 Attack and 74 Hitpoints.

Finally....yesterday.....got enough dragon bones. And ecto'ed them. Made it to 65 and 66 Prayer. Along the way picked up 70 Defense and 73 Hitpoints.

Did Tears today. Got to 58 Construction (104 tears).

Made about 30 pineapple pizzas. Hit 75 Cooking.

That puts me at 1573 levels!! Somehow I may make my 1575 goal. I'm pretty close to 66 Runecrafting (the last 66 I need) and realized I was really close on Fletching. Hopefully, I can close in on both tomorrow.

Tried to do Knight's Wave. Combat level 87. Nearly killed off the 7th knight.

Serum 207!! Finally made 65 Herblore! And I did it mostly by making Serum 207's and Super Attacks. First, I used up all my seconds for all my random herbs. Then my friend Hypo decided to work firemaking (Congrats on 82 Hypo). I followed behind her and picked up all the ashes. I know a lot of people think 207 is too low level to deal with. Maybe someday I'll feel the same. All I know is that I love it because I can run around right outside a bank and grab my seconds. Other then just buying eyes of newt and chocolate I don't think there's an easier second to obtain.

The other beautiful thing is that with 65 herblore I could finally clean all my cadantine. I had some clean ones (gift from a friend or something) and a bunch of dirty ones. So even better I now have an entire free row of bank space.

Right now I'm planning on finishing herblore and runecrafting by Friday. Then work on prayer and slayer all weekend. Should have all 66's by Tuesday if all goes well.

My friend, who I was racing to 70, hasn't been around much the last few weeks. This has allowed me to finally catch up with him. At this point I'm about 100k behind him in terms of how much xp is needed to get all skills to 70+. (Thanks to a friend's spreadsheet that goes out and pulls this information down and computes it all etc). I spoke to him the other day and he'll be away for about another week. So, once I finish getting everything to 66 I'm going to slow it down. Do a bunch of the mini games/quests/halloween events. Clean a bunch of stuff out of my bank etc. I'll still be gaining xp but at a much slower rate. I've been going pretty fast and furious with the levels lately and I want to check out some of the other game content.


142 Tears. Nearly made it to 58 Construction. Definately next week.

Did my now usual practice of a daily tree planting round. As long as I have the seeds and payments I'll probably keep doing this.

Hosted my regular Friday night Agility event. Meet most of the folks who went in Ardougne and started to head to the arena. Right when we got there someone messaged us they were lost. So we went to find them. After a comedy of errors we ended up at the mage bank. Where we got into a fight with a level 126. After a small skirmish our party made it safely into the bank. In the meantime, two more people showed up. On our way out of the bank someone tried to jump one of us. Drew beat him up and he ran away. I know there are people who think in the wildy you shouldn't eat or shouldn't pray. I did both. I wasn't looking for a fight. I wasn't dressed to fight. If someone decides to fight me...well...too bad. They aren't playing by my rules and I'm not going to play around with theirs.

Got out there and a couple of laters later made 73 Agility.

Did tears. Got about 140 good for 54 Construction.

Then went to Tzhaar and ranged some Lesser's for Slayer. Made 70 Hitpoints.

54 Runecrafting!! I can now make my own laws.

Pretty quiet day. Helped out a couple of friends with supplies for quests/leveling/just cause. Talked to some people. Mostly though worked on making earth plus talisman combo runes. Then a few chaos runes. Hellsing wanted some nature runes so I ended the night making some for him.

2 plus full rows of empty bank space. My goal at the moment is five empty rows...just to see.

Did Tears. 136. 8k construction xp.

July 24-Finished new quest (King's Ransom). Fun and easy. That gave me 66 Defense. (Used the lamp on prayer). Killed some elves. Got yet another clue scroll. Toured the widly with Sparkle and Mox. Got 1 black d hide body, 1 rune plate, 1 rune pick, 42 natures, a sara page 4 and a couple other items.

July 25-Finally done with elves! Now on to fire giants. Fighting them in the Smokey Well. Burying all the big bones. Lots of herbs and decent drops (mith shield, rune dagger).

Tears of Guthix went to Runecrating (but no level :() Got 60 Slayer. Another skill to 60!!

Started off killing Jungle Horrors. Finished that and did my Tears. Very substandard day (80 tears). Still got to 52 Construction though :D. Met up with a friend who was cleaning out her bank and she gave me 11 Curry Tree seeds.

Next slayer assignment: HellHounds!?! I've never seen one. Fortunately, Sticks and Hypo gave me directions. And both suggested I range them. Hmmm....I really want to get to 85 combat. But then again, I prefer not dying or working harder then I have to.

So changed into my ranger gear (at least the prayer and HP xp will push me a little closer). Ranging away and got 63 Range pretty quick. I PM'ed a friend about how hell hounds don't seem to drop anything. Boom! Got my first level 3 clue scroll.

Of course I had to stop EVERYTHING and go chase it down.

Stop 1: Panic in the haunted woods w/nothing on. Sounds easy right? Well, being unequipped while vampires and leeches attack you wasn't exactly fun. Then I got a double agent. So reequip, fight him, run away to get the vampires to chill, run back, unequip, panic. Casket w/another scroll.

Stop 2: Blow kisses in Shilo bank while wearing bone spear, rune plate and blue mystic hat. For this reason alone people should belong to clans-the random stuff you have to find while doing clue scrolls. Hypo found someone who would loan me their blue mystic hat. So off to Shilo. Another double agent. 65 Strength

Stop 3: Digsite. Puzzle box. 45 minutes later........Guthix platebody, 17 sharks, 10 purple firelighters and a mage shortbow. Nice haul.

Had the day off! Love the 4th.

Spent part of the day cutting oaks and planking them in Varrock. If I have to do a bunch of chopping may as well make it worth something. Planked about 2k boards before running out of cash.

Then I got out my farming gear and headed to the Champion's Guild. Planted a bush and then ran south and planted hops. Spent the rest of the time working to 65 Woodcutting and 59 Firemaking. I like the mix in of farming. Helps me pace myself. Breaks up the monotony of woodcutting.

Gotten a few good seeds from birds nest. Planted a couple of trees for breaks.

Started off with mining gold in Brimhaven. Then went to Neitznot and tested the smelter there. Got 58 smithing. The smelter is one click from bank, so it goes very fast. And it's very quiet. I liked it.

Put an amulet mold in my inventory and smelted and then crafted the amulets. Went pretty fast and left plenty of time to chat.

Did Tears of Guthix and got 50 Runecrafting. Woohoo!! All skills are at 50 now! Next goal is 61.

Sold off 5500 coal. Should have kept it. Brimhaven was busy when I got back so I went to the Grand Tree. Mined gold, mithril and iron. I can one tap iron but it takes a while for Mithril and Iron. So I mined the gold/mithril and then while waiting for the respawn collected iron.

The mining will probably take another week. New plan is to mine until Saturday or until level 66. Whichever comes first. Then get stuff out of my kingdom (flax/fishing/coal). Use the coal I get to smith all the mithril I have and the gold. I'll see how close I am to smithing 63 by then. If I'm close continue on. If not, then use all the flax to spin bowstrings and get Lunar Diplomay done. That should give me enough of a break and I get back into smithing. Looking at an outside chance of getting DM and LD done by 7/4. It'll be tight.

Spent the evening pick up everything I had ever lost in any death. Had to kill a mourner and in the process of that got my stats nuked. Which means I had to walk from Lumbridge to Al-Kharid to Varrock to Taverly to Lleyta. By then I could tele to Ardougne.

Got 152 Tears and made 49 Runecrafting. Only 1 more RC level and everything is 50+.

Spent another hour on Mourning's End Part 2.
