Got 99 Cooking to end August. There's a nice gap between raw and cooked sharks and they buy and sell easily. I took advantage of this to get cooking done, do some chatting with friends and make some GP. I'm getting close to maxing now and don't think I'm going to have the patience to wait a month for 99 construction.
And then today got 99 Magic and 99 Fletching. Livid farm combination maging and making bolts. I have a bunch of diamond tipped bolts that won't sell anytime soon. But I don't need the monty right now so I put them in the GE hoping that they will clear out before bxpw. Otherwise it'll be a long while. I still need 300k livid farm points to be done with it but for now I don't want to go anywhere near there for awhile.
Down to 3 more skills and less then 500k til max. I wanted to get done before bonus xp weekend. Partly, I want to be done. Partly, I want to dungeoneer.

Been hanging out at the sawmill making planks. Almost as fast as ivy but with more peace and better gameplay. Tossing in a little ivy when I want to be brain dead. Made it to 98 Woodcutting. Will probably do a combination of sawmill, ivy and the occasional evil tree with friends to get the next level.
Oh and Dungeoneering 102. I am really starting to to like this, 30 minute larges with friends makes it go by fast. At least for the summer while everyone is around quite a bit it's been easy to form teams.
And finally 98 Magic. I swear, I haven't trained this other then the circus, teleporting around and some time with friends at livid farm. The circus is just fast free xp.
With all the dungeoneering I'm doing can see that it's making an affect on all my xp. Which is great.

Nearly a whole month of not posting and not much skilling. My apologies. I usually post while I'm doing an afkable skill and there's no way to afk Dungeoneering.
That and at Christmas dinner some friends started talking about Glee. I thought this was the dumbest show I'd ever heard of since Knight Rider. But then I decided to check out an episde on Hulu. So then I had to watch the first 1.5 seasons that I missed out on. And for some of them I had to rewind and play again because they were fun. So the short story is, sorry but blame Glee for my lack of posts.
(And no, I have not rage quit since Wildy is coming back).
Got to 93 Magic over the weekend. Was in a bit of a rut of skilling. Mostly offered bones on my altar and made astrals. Been battling a cold all week so not at 100%.
But then the new quest came out. I love quests! This one was one of the better ones. First of all, I was ready to do just another (easy) holiday event. Then I hear rumor of a master quest. So I head over to Baba Yaga and we're off on another Lunar/Relleka adventure. Awesomeness.
I won't ruin it for you other then to say I used all my points on prayer and hit 91 Prayer
And don't forget: December 19th we're getting together at 3pm EST to play trouble brewing and get some clothes!
But then the new quest came out. I love quests! This one was one of the better ones. First of all, I was ready to do just another (easy) holiday event. Then I hear rumor of a master quest. So I head over to Baba Yaga and we're off on another Lunar/Relleka adventure. Awesomeness.

Busy weekend. Was getting close to some levels and my big goal of 2100.
So....knocked out a waterfiends task, got a rune defender, started on a Black Demons task and got 83 Defense.....83 Strength....83 Attack.
Cleaned up junk in my bank. Hit 91 Crafting. Alched some of it and got to 91 Magic. Spent most of the weekend at ZMI running around like crazy. Finally pushed it to 83 Runecrafting.
Hunted some penguins on Sunday morning and used it to get 87 Summoning.
My friend Cross had an open altar last night and thanks to that I can check off 86 Prayer.
That's 8 and 2099 in 3 days.

What can I say? Did some woodcutting, chased some evil trees, mined some stars. Farmed, chatted with Zaff and Arhein (I really wish Zaff would teach Arhein how to sell things in a noted way).
While I was waiting for my various distractions I alched the stockpile of air battlestaffs I've acquired and ended up with 89 Magic.
I was thinking of getting 99 in a few skills. The more I think about it the more that doesn't appeal to me. There's a few skills that I'll probably get a cape in before the end of summer. But I've always liked to change skills. I know I know, that's no way to get maxed. But I don't really have a goal of being maxed. I just like to work on things as the mood strikes me and test out ideas I have.
Anyways, we'll see.

So far many things have come together today.
Did the circus. Got to 82 Range and 88 Magic. Considering I haven't been actively working these skills I'm pretty happy. I get mage xp just by doing stuff (teleporting, alching stuff, making jewelry that I need), range is mostly via circus lately.
After yesterday's Seer's village I decided I needed to do a lot of bank clean out. Had a bunch of random items for summoning so got working on that. 83 Summoning. Probably going to be a while before I level it again. Plenty of charms, just not tons of seconds.
Hit 2 stars today and got to 85 Mining. Never cared for mining and once I got what I needed for questing I really quit doing it seriously. Gotten my last 5 mining levels with stars and loving it.

Late last night I got to 81 Woodcutting.
Then today I got to 87 Firemaking, 81 Smithing and 87 Mage. Firemaking is firemaking, not much to explain there. I used superheat on a bunch of mith, addy and gold ore to get the levels.
Checked my fruit trees and they were grown. Then finished some herb farming and ended up 2500 away from 95 Farming. Well, I didn't have the patience to wait so I did the vinesweeper minigame. If I had been smart I would have checked all my bushes and calquat tree.
Anyways, after spending much longer at Ms Winkin's Farm then I wanted to I got to 95 Farming. And all this mad skilling got me to 2,000 total levels :D

Went a little crazy. Had a few days off and realized how close I was getting to a number of levels so:

Crafting creeps up due to air battlestaffs. Mage from high alching them. Then I did a little bank cleanout and replenished my jewelry supply.
Summoning, well....I've been saving all my charms for a long time. Got to 73 summoning and realized that I could cash in all the bunyip pouches I had made. That gave me enough shards to make a lot of mithril minotaurs. And cashed them in, rinse, repeat.....got all the way to 77 and then a bit more.

Been steadily chipping away at my levels. Now that I don't really have any easy levels they are taking a lot longer.
I have extra time today since so I got to 78 Construction. Superheated about 1k mithril ore and got to 85 Magic plus a good chunk of smithing xp. Then smithed all those bars I made and ended up at 79 Smithing.
For construction I've been doing a mixture of mithril armorstands and oak larders. Mithril gets me smithing and construction xp and is cheaper but sooooo slow. Larders are faster but will end up costing me more.
Had an unusually bad tree run. Was just growing bananas, apples, willows and oaks. Had more dead trees then live trees. Need over 700k for my next farming level.

Got to 84 Magic. Honestly haven't been working it. Just alched my daily battlestaff allotment and teleporting around.
So 1926 now.
My daily rounds now take about 2 hours. Not making fast progress against the goal of all 80's but chipping away. Made about 2k deaths runes. Should get to 80 thieving and mining this weekend. I should have enough ores in the bank to get to 79 mining. And I'm hoping to earn enough thieving to get at least some construction supplies.
But then how to get from 75-80 construction (I may have 100 various planks in the bank max). I'm thinking of making mithril armorstands. That'll give a little more xp per plank AND some smithing xp which should help get from 79-80.
Have about 1 million in cash on hand. The death runes I'm selling to buy more pure essence at the moment. Cash will be tight (I did replace my Guthan's during the big price crash a few weeks back). Hopefully between the thieving, mining and rune crafting I can afford the smithing and construction.
The other thing is I'm hoping to finish out mining and thieving so I can focus on 2 skills. Make runes and smelt bars for now. Once I run out of smithing supplies I'll work on construction (not buy more smithing supplies). With my strategy of building armor stands I should be able to make up some of the gap in ores I'll have. And if I continue to chase stars it should be close.

Been just chipping away (literally) at mining. Got to 74 Mining finally. It doesn't excite me to train mining, but once I start I can stick with it pretty well. I went and talked to Lazim to get a new camulet which drops me pretty close to the granite mines.
Got 81 Crafting "accidently". Basically been making some air battlestaffs and some gold jewelry as I feel like it. Not working it but it just creeps up there.
And along with all that crafting comes mage. After I high alched all those air battlestaffs I superheated a bunch of ores and got to 83 Magic. Which is GREAT because now when I'm on lunars I can cast the super compost spell.

Yesterday cleaned out my bank. Realized I had many many battlestaffs and few gp. So made a lot of air orbs, air battlestaffs and high alched away. In between I made some runes, did some farming, cleaned up some random bank items and buried some bones.
80 Crafting and 82 Magic. Was so happy, I had a few dragonstones from a dragon impling I caught a few days ago. Made myself my own glories. Woot!
Today did my usual farming and got to 88 Farming! Feels like forever since I last leveled farming. Also got to 78 Woodcutting. Noticed I had less then 3k to level once I finished farming so I cut down a few yews in Edge on my way to Bork.
Ended the night starting my task at Scabarites.
1844 total.

Finally finished the Varrock achievement diary last night. I was making runes (again!) and talkign to a friend. She mentioned that I didn't need to have 85 cooking, I could just buy the wild pie! So....off to smith an addy helm, buy a pie and get on ancients. 20 minutes later woot!! The 10k lamp was spent on summoning. 57 Summoning. As a side note: The pharoah's sceptre is one of the best things I ever bought. The entire desert area is a huge hassle (for me at least) to get around. No good teleports and all that. But with that thing I can get to thieving, agility and ancients areas easily. And from the thieving spot I can take a carpet almost anywhere. I'd highly recommend one.
Today.....did my usual rounds. Runecrafting...more runecrafting....made some air orbs. All about running laps around Edgeville. Should take a few more days. I'm trying to get 6k cosmics and 2k nats and 2k air orbs. That's a one month supply. May start doing that monthly just to get it out of the way. The battlestaff making stuff that is. Good profit, raises crafting, mage and runecrafting. May be what I do for the first few days of each month for awhile. And by the way, 78 Crafting and 81 Magic :D

So I've been slacking since I last posted. At least until yesterday. Had stuff to do in real life and all that so just did my daily farming run/bork/battlestaff.
Yesterday, switched to Lunars. Did a bunch of ZMI altar along with humidify and super glass make. Got myself to 80 Mage. I prefer ZMI to abyss for a lot of runes. Mostly cause I use nearly all the kinds of runes. And it's still "profitable" to use it. Plus, I like being on lunars. I make runes until I can't run then humidify/superglass make and swing over to Waterbirth Isle for Snape Grass.
This morning I did my farming round and hit 85 Farming!! Woot!! Torstol, now I can plant everything :D.
Got around to using all those planks I bought the other day. Made 2 construction levels to 70 Construction. That's 1808 total. Built a gilded altar. That's about as much construction in a day that I can stand :D.

Did the usual rounds. Got a slayer task of 13 bronze dragons. First time I went, forgot my antifire potions. Decided to mage a few dragons since I was already there and wanted to see how it worked.
Had to eat a lot. Killed 3 dragons total. Got dragon legs (woot!). I'll probably sell the legs as I think I could put the money to better use then the armor. Finished off that task and got 111 Trolls. Worked on that for the rest of the night. While maging the bronze dragons I got 79 Magic. Hit 78 Hitpoints while fighting the Trolls. I finally remember that I had the Guthan's armor and could use it so I didn't have to contantly restock on food.
I've been keeping a notepad document on my desktop. At the top of it is a list of things to do daily (buy battlestaffs, farming run, pineapples etc). And then there are reminders of things to do. There's one part that's basically "next time you are on ape atoll buy more monkey nuts" and another which is the "weekly tasks" list. It's worked out really well in keeping me on task.
Notice how things sometimes seem to go in cycles? Lately it seems there's a lot of people in various clan chats and private messages that basically say "I'm bored, do something with me." I usually reply with what I'm doing and that they are welcome to join me. But they usually reply that what I suggest is not what they are looking for and then continue to whine. I'm going to chalk it up to a fullmoon. Just seems....odd?....that what should be fun and interesting for you makes you bored. Sometimes I just want to say "log out and do something else".
And by the way, I play with my public chat on 99% of the time. So if you want to PM me feel free. If I don't answer immediately please don't continue to spam me. Just assume I'm doing something and I'll see your message and reply shortly. And let me know why you're PMing me too. Just saying hi is fine. Spent the last 2 days getting back stuff I lost when I died. Then I took a look and realized how many skills I was nearing leveling so:

Got the mage/slayer/melee skills just doing slayer tasks. Went back to doing a daily farming run and that pushed my woodcutting up. Enjoyed a clan event chopping willows and that pushed me over the top. The downside is there aren't many skills that I'm near leveling now.
Went and fought iron and steel dragons for the first time. Interesting, not really my cup of tea but it was a nice change of pace.
Did the new quest which gave me enough XP (along with a laps at Dorgesh-Kaan) for the agility level.
Got a crystal key. Unlocked the chest and got 3 runite bars along with the dragon stones!!

77 Magic. Fabulous with lunars as I can use super glass heat :D. And since I'm down to 1,000 vials it's a good thing to get. (When I started out on Herblore I thought 100 vials were a big deal.....and it was!! Now 1,000 vials and I start looking for more.)
Finished my Blue Dragon tasks. Got 102 Turoths. Used slayer dart. (I somehow got myself on and off lunars while running around up on Moonclan island. I could of sworn I was on lunars when I left there.)
With the Turoths I got some red mystic gloves, rune dagger and decent seeds/herbs.
Next task is 135 Lesser Demons. Going to use up my stockpile of chaos runes there.
Dealt with some drama in my one of my clans. Just wearing me out. I think it's taken care of.

Last night right before logging out I alched all my stuff from shade burning. Then I superheated about 20 steel bars and voila! 76 Magic.
Today kept burning shades. I may have gone crazy and bought too many remains on the GE. But they are relatively cheap compared to what you can get for them. I'm burning maples. They require 3 doses of oil (same as willows) but give more XP. Not sure why you'd ever want to burn willow pyres but oh well.
Hit 72 Firemaking pretty quickly today. Then on to 72 Prayer :D

Today kept burning shades. I may have gone crazy and bought too many remains on the GE. But they are relatively cheap compared to what you can get for them. I'm burning maples. They require 3 doses of oil (same as willows) but give more XP. Not sure why you'd ever want to burn willow pyres but oh well.
Hit 72 Firemaking pretty quickly today. Then on to 72 Prayer :D
