Mixed review for today. Worked on my slayer task (still the jungle horrors). Got a clue scroll. Worthless! 9 cooked lobsters, a yew composite bow and some air runes. Bleeech. Just as I was finishing the task I got 61 Range and 51 Slayer. Bam bam! I had buried the regular bones and saved the big bones. Ecto'ed those and with one left I got 50 Prayer! Woohoo! Finally, now I can do Great Brain Robbery. So I geared up and went and got that started. What a fun quest! Not too long, not too short. Nothing impossibly hard or pure luck. Pay attention, get it done. There's some moderately high level stuff that needs to be done but none of the frustration of Eadger's Ruse or Sheep Herder. (GRRRR) First time I fought Barrelchest I realized I needed a Ring of Recoil. Went and grabbed one went back. 2nd time.....drained his bar but I was at 7. Didn't want to risk it and Ecto'ed out. Third time, died an inglourious death. Lost my ectophial, power ammy, some arrows and a bunch of sharks. What hurt though was losing my mystic fire staff. I loved that thing. Now I have to get another one. Got annoyed and for some reason went to Falador. Did a little bit of fletching and made 51 Fletching. Thinking about shelving questing for awhile and just working on getting my levels up. The fights are getting too close for comfort and too expensive to lose.
