I'm starting to feel pretty competitive with this TPOM skilling competition. My guess is that around 68 levels will win this thing. For me...that's a target of 1515.
I've been heads down training like crazy. Have never tried to do this before. The amount of focus on one repetitive task etc. Plus, I was trying to maximize my time.
So in 2 days I've gotten:
70 Fishing
59 Thieving
62 Crafting
64-67 Hunting
72 Cooking
This puts me at 1466. That's 9 back from the leader.
In other news:
My friend Andy is going to get 99 tomorrow!! Yeah Andy.
Orange salamanders are the way to go. Even at level 67 they are significantly faster then reds. It's about a 50 xp per sally difference. But.....I only have about 10% failed traps with oranges which means I can travel in a little circle and just rack up the xp.
I've got a nice set of seedlings and payments all ready to go. I've been planting lots of random trees as I travel around. I should be pretty close to a farming level soon.

64 Hunting. Red chinchompas are slow. When I take up hunting again it will be red salamandars. Then I went and took care of a few little things and then fishing. Lots of fishing. Got to level 67 Fishing there. Monkfish in Piscatoris. Totally my new favorite fishing spot. Very little in the stupid discussion arena.
More interesting piece-was in TCA clan chat off and on throughout the day. Noticed that whenever certain people logged in everyone would switch to someone else's chat or it would get really quiet. Came to a head after I left appearantly. I really like clan chat as it's interesting to see conversations while you're skilling away. Breaks up the boredom. But.....I don't like the spam and the begging and the questions like "Where is Yanille". I'm happy enough to give general directions. But they need to get their map open.

Sometime over the weekend I got to 54 Runecrafting but forgot to post about it.
TPOM is having a clan contest. Four brackets, most levels in that bracket wins. Pretty straightforward. Spent yesterday organizing my bank to make my leveling go faster.
Today. Tested version 5 of my speed farming guide. Which got me to 59 Farming and 70 Woodcutting. Pretty happy with how it's working out. Writing it for mid level players who don't have tons of cash to burn on runes and such.
Then I went hunting in Piscatoris. Spotted 3 dragon implings (never saw/noticed them before). Deadfalled and had 2 box traps going. Got from 55 to 59 Hunting!

Super eventful night even if I didn't do much. 65 Defense! Finished killing Lessers in Tzhaar. Helped a friend get some runes together and paid a visit to my kingdom.
Met two more TPOM folks. They seemed really great. Had a good time chatting with them while running some errands. One of them is working on a quest cape too and only has 4 more quests to go. It's great to meet people who are working on the same goals as me.
Got assignment for Jungle Horrors. These things are great!! (Requires one of the pirate quests). There is a bank near them. They drop noted teak and mahoghany logs, iron, some seeds and herbs, big bones and regular bones in quantity and other random stuff. Plus they die fast. Always a plus!

Real life found me moving furniture so I just logged in at the end of the day to unwind a bit. Made it to 56 Slayer! I just think it always feels good to get a level. Even if you don't have a "use" for it.
Met a couple of folks from TPOM. I'm still on new status so I don't get much access to the clan itself it. But I'm meeting people and finding out how things work.

Couple of days with issues on getting logged in here. Changed computers and forgot my password. Grrrr
Friday-150 agility tickets. Currently around 770 tix.
Saturday/Sunday-Very busy in RL. Chipped away at the woodcutting. 67 Woodcutting and 62 Firemaking by Sunday night. Got asked by someone I had met doing Hero's Quest to help him with Monkey Madness. Was, as always, glad to help. But what an incredible waste of time. He was absolutely unprepared. Sunday night, another friend was doing it. That was much more fun as he wasn't trying to run off in a million directions. We just did it and joked around and it wasn't nearly as frustrating (or deadly). Got an SOS from someone holding an event. Needed a little help keeping things on track. Turns out it was the usual misunderstandings. I could see she was frustrated. It seems that any event that's beyond "slash and burn" or "Kill x" gets too complicated.
Monday-Chop chop chop. Starting to really dislike woodcutting. 68 Woodcutting, 64 Firemaking. Sold 7k flax. Market prices are going down :(. Got 57 Farming and 55 Fletching. Been farming bushes, trees and hops while working on wood and fire.

Interesting day. Refocusing myself on goals and letting other things go, at least for now. Getting bank tidied up and tossed out a lot of stuff that I just didn't want to store anymore.
Did a semi farming run while taking care of other business. Like brewing up some axeman's folly, making cosmics etc.
Anyways, ran into a friend and next thing you know there's a spontaneous clan event! Six of us chopping and burning. A few people had gotten woodcutting as an assignment so lots of interest. It was a fun event as people were showing their various emotes. I saw L do a nice tantrum emote, and M doing the sleep emote/spell. Also saw my first emotes with elegant blouse and something else. Oh and a fez. So much fashion I never noticed before.
Ended the night with 67 Woodcutting and 62 Firemaking.
Considering the amount of random stuff in my bank I may take a day to do combat and use up some of the food and gear. And break up the monotony of woodcutting.

The clan recruitment drive continues. We got some really great candidates! Watching the recruitment thread I saw some real nutters jumping out. Fortunately, most of them were one time posters. This is my second recruitment drive during my tenure with TCA.
Anyways...got the clan events boards reconfigured. Something I've been wanting for a long time. Committee finally agreed and now we have a better smaller board.
Finished the Fever Spider assignment. Total waste. They dropped maybe 5 Kwuarms with the 49 I killed. Next task was 183 Infernal Mages. Love these! Just what I needed for my dwindling rune supply. Training defense on these guys. Amazing rune droppers, should get what I need to hit 63 mage later this week.
Was cooking lobsters and next thing I know 71 Cooking. For the record, I only cook when I need it for combat or questing. Never put a lot of effort into this but it's still moving along nicely.
Borrowed a Rune Warhammer from my friend Drew. Great guy, him and his fiance are in our clan. He's always good with advice for me.
Anyways, borrowed the Warhammer and killed off Barrelchest. Yes, finished the Great Brain Robbery! Easy too. Level 78 combat for the record.
Used the experience lamp and got 52 Prayer. And just before logging out I got 61 Defense!

Very productive day today! TCA kicked off their recruitment drive. So I planned a little Slash and Burn in Rimmington. Got 62 Woodcutting and 56 Firemaking. Met some new clan members. Went and checked on my various plantings. Messed around a bit, got a few agility tickets etc. Then got serious about slayer. Killed off a bunch of banshees. Then 189 Brine Rats. Got to 62 Magic, 54 Slayer and 60 Defense. Getting to my goal of all 61's is going to be a challenge for both Slayer and Prayer. Once I get my quest cape I'll probably focus in on these two skills.
Thought about doing Mourning's End or Great Brain Robbery. Decided to put off all further questing until I hit 80 combat. Should make it easier and less costly.

What a weird night. Jumped on to do a little Runecrafting (48 Runecrafting to end it btw). One of my clanners got weird on me tonight. Discussed it with B. Don't like where this is headed. Kind of gave me the creeps. Mucho anger issues.

Within TCA I was a moderator and assistant assignment planner. Pretty happy as it seems the clan is pulling itself back together. There's been a few disruptive folks in the last couple months. 3 of the top 6 leaders have been away from the game for a bit. Seems things are getting sorted out now.
Got to level 60 Mining. Stocking up on gold ore. Planning on making a big push to clean up all the unused gems I have.
Want to get to level 50 construction next so I can upgrade to fancy stone for my house. Thinking of flatpacking oak chairs and oak armchairs.
Got assigned 173 Jungle Horrors for slayer.

Lots of interesting things today. Got to level 55 Smithing by using the last of my steel bars making throwing knives. Then got to level 60 Range by working on my slayer task (Trolls, taking forever). Did a little farming as I traveled around.
Hosted a clan event in Brimhaven Agility Arena. Well attended. Lots of fun. Lasted about 2 hours total. Got to level 65 Agility.
After the dust settled (and I had some dinner) got back to work on Mourning's End Part 1. Hoping to get it done tomorrow so I can finish Desert Treasure then Recipe for Disaster this weekend.
