Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hope you all had a great week. I went to my first "Black Friday" in real life and I will never be doing that again.
Got 98 Prayer on Monday. Went and cashed in all the zeal I had from killing Nomad plus altared the bones I had left from my push to 98 and found myself just below 800k xp til 99. I'd been buying 100k gp worth of dragon bones a week since the mid 70's prayer. Admittedly, not the fastest way but it was consistent. Then I upgraded to 1million gp a week in dragon bones a few months ago. Again, not exciting but consistant.
Then spent the rest of the week working on slayer and got to 94 Slayer and 96 Constitution. I'm doing a few days of dungeoneering and a few days of slayer each week to break up the boredom. And I can't say I'm even thinking about constitution leveling, just seems to be a byproduct of leveling other combat skills.
So then the new update came out. And my friends needed apple/banana/orange seeds. I hadn't checked my kingdom since the last double xp weekend so I knew there'd be a lot in there. So I checked it and started shoving herbs and nests and seeds into the GE. Most sold pretty fast and I had a nice pile of cash in front of me. So I bought dragon bones. And got 99 Prayer. I also bought a bonecrusher and a dragontooth necklace. Combine those with extremes and I can pretty much pray turmoil through 60% of a slayer task without needing more prayer. Very very handy. Maybe not the best use of my points but at this point I have a lot of them so I'm willing to spend a few (the other thing I bought is the antipoison totem. Amazing. Useful in a lot of ways. Highly recommend it).
Anyways, been dungeoneering with a bit of fish flinging and star chasing mixed in the last few days. Got to 95 Dungeoneering. Been doing a mix of larges with friends and mediums solo (I c1 the first 30 or so floors unless friends want them for the XP).

A friend had a house party with an open altar over the weekend. That pushed my prayer along and I hit 97 Prayer. Just 2 levels (and 50m gp) to 99. Also got to 87 Dungeoneering.
I've been doing one floor every other day or so in W117. I haven't had many bad teams, had a few great teams and mostly good teams. The xp is such that it's worth the 10mins of getting organized to do that.
Started the new Void quest. Haven't finished it yet. Did the boss fight 2x and lost interest. Maybe I'm still hung over from my Nomad standoffs. But I'll get it done soon (I think). I have 2 diaries left to do and they both hinge on my killing Jad. Waiting for Kuradel to assign him to me before I go down that path.

Due to the start of the college football season and a few games I really wanted to watch this weekend I didn't much dungeoneering (2 floors) and spent most of my online time working on prayer and cleaning out my bank. Got to 96 Prayer and I think I may have enough bones to push to 97 (or get really close).
Planning on playing a bit of Trouble Brewing on Sunday so if anyone wants to play PM me in game for details. Still working on filling up my costume room.
And anyone know where to find 50/50 games for castle wars and great orb project?

Tons of levels this weekend.
65 Dungeoneering. Finally learning group dungeoning tactics. I really prefer small floors, duo or triple. But I feel like I have to do floors 30-35 large 5:5. It's always that fifth guy that is the problem :)
93 Mining, almost all stars and rock collecting.
89 Smithing, in my pursuit of rocks I'm using gold gaunts and smelting ores. Slow but cheap and very easy for me to read other things while I smith.
90 Fletching.
90 Slayer. Kindly enough, my first task after getting 90 is Dark Beasts. 216 of them.
94 Prayer. A friend had a houseparty. I buy 100k worth of bones every week plus sell my red chins from hunter and buy bones. I want 95 before facing Nomad again.
As long as I keep chasing rocks I'll have weeks of no levels and then bursts of levels. 2284 total. Decided my goal for June is 2300 total. Trying to get 70 dungeoneering this month so 5 levels there.

Over the weekend got to 93 Prayer. On Monday I did the new quest and got to 89 Hitpoints.
Got the new quest done up to the fight with Nomad. Took 2 runs at it last night and died an expensive death both times. I'll be taking a break from that nonsense for awhile.
My goal of 96 prayer is, I think for now, out the window. The price of dragon bones is at or over 5k gp each. Which also means that killing the Skeletal Horror from Rag and Bone 2 each week worth 20k gp. Yeah, it doesn't sound like much but the 1k prayer xp is worth about 20k gp. I'll take a free 20k gp every week plus 1,250 slayer xp.
Played some Trouble Brewing this weekend. Working towards that pretty pirate armor.
Thinking of playing some Great Orb Project on Sunday at 1pm PST (4pm EST/9PM GMT). I'd say we play noobie style. Meaning everyone read a guide or whatever and then we get in there and just mess around. Learn how the mechanics work, practice moving the orbs etc. And I'd like to end every game in a tie so everyone gets a decent amount of tokens. I've played this twice now in the official worlds. And got yelled at a lot. So I'm thinking maybe do a little practice before showing my face there again.
If we play for a tie (alternating who wins each alter) then everyone gets 540 tokens. That's pretty good per game. Max is 1000 but if we play to split everyone gets more on average.
Anyone up for that?

So my typical day in Runescape (weekday) looks something like this:
Log in, tele to Monastery (love that Ardy cape), grab some poison ivy berries from the bush, mine the coal an then run up and tag the jade vine.
Log out and do other stuff.
Log in, go make astrals. At some point check to see when the next star is scheduled to fall. Chase the star. If I'm waiting around for the star but don't want to go back to making astrals I'll offer bones on my altar and chat with friends. Then I'll go back to making astrals until it's time to kill the Jade Vine and Bork. Somewhere in there I'll buy battlestaffs, get sand, get pure ess, run all over Catherby picking up stuff and possibly stop in at the GE. I try to limit my time spent running around gathering things to a 5 minute spurt but it varies.
Last night while waiting for a star I got to 90 Prayer! 6 more levels til my goal.
I got a lot of responses to my post about filling up our costume rooms. So I'm thinking:

I was offline for a week. My modem fell out the window on Friday and other then a few minutes here and there in internet cafes I've been pretty much RS free. Which means I got a lot of other things done. Which means I can play a ton this weekend.
It also means that I won't be making my goal of 2150 for my 3 year anniversary (on Halloween). So I decided that I would at least have all the quests and diaries done.
All that's left is the Elite Ardougne tasks. For that I need 1 Summoning level and some smithing levels or boosts.
Started work on those. Also, went to a clan event for an hour that was a bank cleanout. In that time got 92 Crafting and 87 Herblore. Was also really close so did some gilded altar bowing and got to 88 Prayer.

Spent the weekend working on prayer and thieving. Mostly thieving (87 Thieving). Got bored with the pyramid. Heard that the customs records were worth checking out. So headed over to Rimmington and got myself thrown in jail. Worked my way up to the customs records room and started looting. Not the fastest xp. Maybe at 63 or so. Decent loot, half ores half random other stuff. Interesting part was a I got a 1 clue clue scroll. Meaning I went where it told me and claimed my reward. If I really wanted to get a lot of level 2(?) scrolls done I'd do more of this.
Went to a couple of house parties and offered bones. 87 Prayer. Nothing fancy about it.
Now it's Monday and I'm back to working slayer. Got 88 Hitpoints first thing. Now it's lots of hellhounds and a slog to my next level.

Busy weekend. Was getting close to some levels and my big goal of 2100.
So....knocked out a waterfiends task, got a rune defender, started on a Black Demons task and got 83 Defense.....83 Strength....83 Attack.
Cleaned up junk in my bank. Hit 91 Crafting. Alched some of it and got to 91 Magic. Spent most of the weekend at ZMI running around like crazy. Finally pushed it to 83 Runecrafting.
Hunted some penguins on Sunday morning and used it to get 87 Summoning.
My friend Cross had an open altar last night and thanks to that I can check off 86 Prayer.
That's 8 and 2099 in 3 days.
And no, I didn't no life this weekend. All but prayer and rc were below 50k at the start of the weekend. It's just that chipping away at some skills from bork killing, battlestaffs etc came together and I just mopped up with 10 minutes or so of working on a skill.

Got 98 Agility 2 days ago. Decided to take a little break from agility and clean up my bank. Started using my gilded altar. Got lucky and met a couple people who needed one and agreed to keep the marrentil going if I provided the altar. Win for everyone!
Got 84 and 85 Prayer.
Checked my kingdom. I've been gathering the proceeds biweekly. I get more that way and it takes me about 11 days to burn through the seeds. I think this is the last time I'll use up all the seeds. After this I'll start selling some of them off, I think.
Mostly hanging around the gnome agility course when not farming. Chipping away at that next agility level.
Got 84 and 85 Prayer.

Got to 94 Hunter on the 13th. Tried to hunt on Saturday and it was a frustrating exercise. Decided I was happy, for now, with 94 Hunter.
For the last week I've done nothing but hunt. The only time I left my hunter spot was to restock on pouches and such. Got about 2.3 million xp. Not bad. In terms of hours that was about. Averaged about 400k a day. Most days that worked out to about 80-100k an hour. Some hours I was more serious then others etc.
Anyways, hunting was a pain on Saturday so I decided to help a friend learn to hunt. She was appalled by how bad the behavior is at the red chin grounds. She obviously had not read my blog at all this week :D. Went and did my bork/battestaffs/jade vine thing. Then I went farming. Hadn't farmed in a week and I was way off my usual stridge. Forgot things, confused myself. Didn't check my kingdom for the last 2 weeks so I have plenty of trees to plant now.
After I did that decided to get a runecrafting level that I was nearing. After about 2 hours of rc I decided that I could get faster xp hunting penguins then I could runecrafting. So off to penguins. Then back to the ZMI. Finally got to 82 Runecrafting. I would suggest that if you use the ZMI to fill up your bank to max. Take out your pouches, all your astral and law runes. Then you can just bank all instead of clicking on each rune. By taking all the keys off my key ring and making a bunch of unfinished pots I was able to max out my bank.
Then a friend of mine was working on prayer. Since he was keeping his gilded altar lit I decided to use it to get to 83 Prayer!

82 Prayer. Been mostly chasing stars, farming, cleaning out my bank and restocking supplies. Oh, and tested a bunch of summoning creatures. I'll have a post up on that in the next few days.

Finally, after 10 hours, finished that quest. May have gone faster but I was doing parts with friends and we messed around. Used all that xp on construction, summoning and runecrafting (x2). That got me to 78 Summoning and 81 Runecrafting.
If you do it (and no spoilers here) I'd suggest taking energy pots and never getting below 50% energy. Allows for better running for your life. And don't wear/carry anything you can't lose.
Spent the last two nights fighting Tormented Demons. No great drops but lots of fun. Got some decent xp from the fights.
Got 81 Prayer by using up the last of my dragon bones.
1975 levels.

Late last night hit 79 and 80 Prayer. Flies when you use a gilded altar (I was really close to 79 anyways).
Realized I need 3800 for summoning. Also found some abyssal charms. I'm planning on getting some runecrafting levels this month. So one batch of abyssal critters and one of spirit terrorbirds and that's 65 Summoning.
Been poking at mining. And farming. Getting close to 80 slayer too. Honestly, I'll just off the jade vine until I get there. Better use of my time chasing other levels.
Oh and James....thieving.....I'm trying to mine during the Olympics because it's so dull it's a good side distraction. Whereas thieving, I need to focus. Maybe World Series :P

Did some fletching. When things quieted down for the night I went and slayed Cyclops until I got a Rune Defender! Finally :D
Noticed that I was getting close to a prayer level from burning the shades, burying various bones etc. So made a couple trips to my gilded altar and ended up with 78 Prayer.

But had a bunch of RS time on Saturday. Kept plowing through my slayer tasks. Dagganoths, Bloodvelds (which I love) and waterfiends.

Did my usual routine. I think on weeknights this will be most of my RS time. Had to tele through my house 2x (1 varrock, 1 ardy) and used those trips to bury dragon bones at my gilded altar. 76 Prayer! That's 1848 total.
Ran out of caviar so ended the night with about an hour worth of fishing. I think I've mentioned it before but I'm racing a friend to all skills (but summoning) to 80.

Yesterday
Somehow I got to 58 Summoning. Not sure if that's from the lamps and I just thought I only got 57 or from a lamp. Either way. I'll take the level. Oh wait...I know. Got the lamps from Troll Stronghold. Ok...I'm not going crazy. I was hoping to get to 60 summoning by the time I got all 80's. That looks easy (just by doing Tears). I've got nearly 3k charms now (about 800 of them red). But there's nothing I really want to make. I figure I'll just keep gaining levels via Tears and making pouches as I need them. Once I get all 80 I'll probably start focusing on one skill at a time. Then I'll look at summoning more serioulsy. And I am saving all my greens until I can make bunyips.
Caught a dragon impling which gave me 43x baby dragon bones (can't remember exactly how many). Did a combo of burying them while waiting for a group to GWD and using them on my altar. 75 Prayer. (if you ever see a magpie, ninja or dragon impling give me a shout. :D)
Yes, I did finally go to GWD. I'll probably go there again now that I've gotten that squared away. I love doing clan events. But I get utterly frustrated by people not reading and following instructions. And honestly, I'm torn. I'd love to host really cool big game hunts but I find that I end up standing around for half an hour while everyone gets sorted out. Lame.

Just did my usual daily rounds. I've made enough air orbs to last for about 10 days so I can go do other things. DC is having an agility contest for 10 days. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to win (something about having a day job.) But I do have a specific goal in mind.

Just did my usual daily rounds. I've made enough air orbs to last for about 10 days so I can go do other things. DC is having an agility contest for 10 days. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to win (something about having a day job.) But I do have a specific goal in mind.
And speaking of goals, completely ignore the ones I had for this month. Only thing I'm working on now is 1840 levels.

Still racing. Behind by one. Pushing to hit 1800 by Friday.....just cause :D
74 Prayer. Had saved up all my dragon bones. A friend has a gilded altar and was burying bones. So I joined her. This has got to be the fastest xp in the game.
75 Herblore. Super energy pots. I realized I had about 1100 herbs in my bank. More then enough to level. Plus, I was low on cash. So I made them, bought the fungi and made a small profit.
79 HP. Been working slayer. Not much more to it. But you know the other levels are coming combat wise.
79 Cooking. Cooked the rest of the fish from my fishing run. Should keep me supplied through 76 or so slayer. Hopefully.
Otherwise, I've been doing my daily farming/battlestaff/bork runs. Once I hit 1800 I'll slow down again.
