You would think that after figuring out the Monkey Madness slider puzzle, all the riddles, running the maze for goutweed, fighting xteen boss monsters the emote of a simple cape would be simple.
So after trying for a full 5 minutes to "Operate" my cape I was about to go to the Wise Old Man and demand an exchange for a nondefective one. Just as I was going to do that I opened my emote window and sure enough, there's a cape emote. Sigh.
For the rest of this week the plan is use up my bank. Doesn't matter so much what I'm skilling (though I'm going to start from lowest and work my way up) as it matters to create bank space. Lots of it.
First up, runecrafting. I've saved every single talisman I've ever seen. I used to make them into tiaras or combo runes but have been slacking off. So spent an hour last night getting a large pouch. Then set out to use up all my talismans. For elemental runes I'm using the talismans to make combo runes. For non-elemental runes I'm making tiaras. For both I'm learning to remember to UNPACK THE POUCH while at the altar. I've got 17,000 pure essence. Had a handful of rune essence and I used those up pretty quickly.
53 Runecrafting. Probably 2 more days (minimum) of that. Will throw in a little farming to break up the monotony but would like to use up all my talismans and essence.
