Trouble Brewing was a lot of fun Friday night/Saturday morning. Had about a dozen people (though some looked like they lived there). Got 2 games in. I think it was a challenge as there seemed to be a bit of running around with no idea what to do in game 1. Oh well, it was fun.
Anyways, been working on offering bones and mining stars. Since I was 160k away from level 90 I've been 2 size 9 stars. Never seen one before, now that I'm so close I find 2 of them. I took dwarven stouts to the 2nd one so I was able to chip away at it a bit. I really just want this level. But I have other goals so I've just been star chasing. About 115k away now so hopefully I'll hit a few big stars. I'm finding myself setting my training to the stars. So check for a star, bury bones or clean herbs or do some crafting or runecraft. Then get back for star. And then work on something else.
I am thinking about making 2010 the year of the minigame for me. I've got a lot of empty space in my costume room and I may as well have fun filling it up. I can't see myself just playing PC or Brewing or whatever for a week. (And I really don't see myself playing that much CW). So I'm thinking......maybe organize a weekly event on Saturday or Sunday around noon PST (that's 3pm EST/8pm GMT) and pick one minigame a week to spend an hour or so playing. Post it here, ask other bloggers to announce it and see what happens. I can't be the only person looking to fill up their costume room, right?
