Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas. I sure did and I wasn't around a whole lot. Nothing much happening for me in RS since I was a bit distracted. Got to 93 Crafting today just from battlestaffs and the gems from Bork.

Ive seen a lot of articles and forum discussions about the year in review. I was thinking of doing a review of all the updates but I feel like we kind of had 2 distinct periods this year. The first part of the year felt more like fixing and tinkering and filling in gaps here and there. The updates themselves weren't that exciting although some helped with game play (pray-x for example). Then part two of the year was all kind of high level updates including the first of the Elite Diary sections. I was really happy to see the new prayers, high level potions and other uses for leveling past 80. I'm a little disappointed that there's no 2010 Behind The Scenes. So I thought I'd write up what I'd like to see in 2010:

1) Give high level firemaking a purpose.
2) Open Lleyta.
3) More Distractions and Diversions!
4) Elite sections added to all the diaries.
5) The Adventurer's log is a good start. But it's not really useful. Since mine pretty much spams "Killed Bork". Let us tweak what people see and don't see (levels, drops, quests, last log in time etc)
6) Mini games that give XP. Mobilizing Armies to me was a huge disappointment. If I wanted to play games like that I'd go to Funorb or Popcap. I want games in Runescape to give me xp.
7) Fix the clan chat system. Right now it's group chat. Give us the ability to manage clans in game (I'll have a full post on this later this week).
8) More rooms in our house. More variety of rooms should I say. I'd love to have an armory where I can store weapons.
9) Let us make keys to our houses. Let's say 5 keys per 10 levels? And you can give them to your friends so they can get into your house when you aren't home.
10) Fix the GE to destroy the merch clans. No, I unfortunately don't have a way to do this but I'd like to see it done.
11) Give us a way to get to Burgh, Mos, and Brimhaven beyond what our option are now.
12) More portals in our houses.
13) Runecrafting-let us make more then 1 death/law/blood etc much like the update for natures and other runes we can make multiples of (I find it ironic that you added some high level spells that need bloods and deaths and changed the Runecrafting essence per rune but didn't change it for these two runes!)
14) Prayers. Gimme something like piety for range and mage.
15) Make extreme potion tradable. Or do something to bring down the cost of herblore. It's killing me.
16) My pet dog should be able to take things to other players. So if my friend wants to borrow a whip I can send my dog to deliver it.
17) Fletching. Almost as useless as firemaking. Let us make explosive/flammable arrows at least.
18) Seriously. What would make me happiest. Go to the mall. Take your whole company to the mall. And watch how women sit. And fix how how women sit when they rest!
